Features
The 2800 Balebuster from Haybuster is the largest and heaviest processor in the line-up.
If you have BIG square bales that need to get processed, this is the machine for you. It also processes round bales making it a very versatile processor.
Bales are loaded with both forks and pincher arms to gently position bales in the chamber. The Haybuster has all the proven features we have trusted for years, such as conveyor table, right side discharge and faster rotor speeds.
Heavy-Duty Fixed Shredder Chamber with 3 Chain Salt Conveyor
Combining these features with the heavy-duty flails and high-speed rotor, the 2800 Heavy-Duty Fixed Shredder Chamber will process bales in any condition; wet, frozen, old, new or with flattened bottoms. The conveyor is slanted, so it helps feed the hay/straw into the rotor.
Oil Bath Chain Case and High-Speed Rotor
The 2800 features an oil bath chain case with double 60-roller chain that reverses the direction of the P.T.O. and increases the speed and efficiency of the rotor. The Heavy Duty 9’ x 26” Rotor with 40 3 lb. flails processes both dry hay and silage pales.
Rotor Access Door
The 2800 is equipped with rotor access doors, giving you quick and easy access to the rotor for routine inspections and twine removal.
Hydraulically Adjustable Slug Bars
The hydraulically adjustable slugbar allows the operator to adjust the length of the cut, even with a bale in the chamber.
9’ Bale Chamber
The 2800 is equipped with a p’ bale chamber for processing all round and square bales.
Dual Action Loading Arms
The 2800 is equipped with Dual Action Loading Arms to allow for loading square and round bales into the bale chamber with equal ease.
Right Hand Discharge
Tractor hydraulic controls are located on the right side, and the 2800’s right hand discharge makes it easy to look over your right shoulder while keeping your hands on the controls.
Two Stage Hydraulic Deflector
The Two Stage Hydraulic Deflector allows the operator to set the deflector position directly from the tractor cab. Additionally, the position of each half of the reflector may be independently set for greater control over discharge dispersal.
Heavy-Duty Frame
The 2800 has a heavy-duty frame for strength and durability.
