CONVEYOR
PATENTED SELF-FILLING DESIGN
The Unverferth Seed Runner seed tender features a patented self-filling design so the conveyor can pivot 180° and be positioned to fill itself easily from the ground level. Every conveyor is equipped with a convenient conveyor arm locking mechanism and spring lift assist for easy handling when pivoting the conveyor.
SEED PROTECTION
Handling your high-value seed with the greatest care is crucial for any seed tender. At Unverferth, we’ve spent years researching and testing different designs, resulting in the 55-Series conveyor which excels in protecting your high-value seed investment.
CONVEYOR TECHNOLOGY
The patented 5-ply rubber conveyor belt features offset rows of cupped cleats to minimize seed damage while providing a greater carrying capacity. The offset in each cleat allows the belt to cup inside the conveyor tube and pass by each other to reduce seed pinching.
UNLOADING SPEEDS
For operations that need the fastest unloading speeds, DXL Models feature a 10” (or 8" is also available) conveyor tube, providing unloading speeds up to 45 bushels per minute.
CONVEYOR LENGTH
Conveyor length is measured from center of the top bearing to center of the bottom bearing for a true measurement of side reach and unloading height.
EASY FILLING
DXL models utilize a 24’ long single-stage conveyor whereas the model 4955DXL features a max unloading height of 16’6” and 90” of hydraulically-operated vertical height adjustment. Model 3955DXL features 15’ of maximum unloading height and 83” of hydraulically operated vertical height adjustment.
CONVEYOR CONTROLS
Model 4955DXL is standard with a 3-function wireless remote that operates the conveyor on/off, the conveyor raises/lowers and opens/closes the tank doors. All other models are standard with an electric 2-function wired remote that raises/lowers the conveyor and turns the conveyor on/off.
All models can be equipped with optional wireless remote packages that can be found in the accessories section.
CONVENIENCE FEATURES
Every conveyor is equipped with the Smooth-Start engagement feature which gently brings the conveyor belt up to maximum speed, which increases the belt life.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
The conveyor can be stored in the front or swung 180° to the rear of the seed tender for convenient road transport. Stainless steel rollers and roller plates allow the conveyor to swing from front to rear and locking increments ensures the operator can lock the conveyor every 10” for unloading versatility.
SEED TANK
SEED HANDLING VERSATILITY
All 55-Series Seed Runner seed tenders feature a dual-compartment tank design for handling multiple seed varieties. The graphite coated interior ensures quick and complete cleanout of seed.
MODELS & CAPACITIES
Model 4955DXL features a 500 seed unit carrying capacity for seed delivery or larger farming operations looking to maximize productivity.
TANK DESIGN
The 55-Series Seed Runner tank has been purpose built for a low-profile design making it more stable in transport and provides an unobstructed top opening so you can easily fill the seed tender, even in the corners. The unique tank shape allows the conveyor to be raised and swing from side-to-side without contacting the tank.
ROLL-TARP
The standard 18 oz. roll-over tarp stays tightly locked at highway speeds and protects the tank’s contents from adverse weather conditions.
VIEWING LADDER
The standard 20” wide non-slip viewing ladder allows the operator to quickly and conveniently check the tank contents.
ENGINE & POWER-PAK
A commercial-duty gas engine powers the hydraulic system and features an electric start, battery quick-disconnect for storage and a large control box located on the conveyor side of the seed tender for easy operation.

Models 4955DXL, 3955DXL, and 3955XL feature a heavy-duty undercarriage with oil bath hubs and a patented rubber cushioned suspension with shock absorbers for the smoothest ride.
HITCH
Equip your Unverferth Seed Runner with a gooseneck or bumper pull hitch with a 2-5/16” ball to meet your operation’s needs. Model 4955DXL is only available with a gooseneck.
For a smoother and gentler ride, you can equip your gooseneck hitch with an optional cushioned hitch receiver on all models The cushioned hitch receiver comes standard on model 4955DXL.
TRANSPORTATION SAFETY
All models are standard with electric brakes on all axles, transport chains, and appropriate highway lighting and markings for safer road travel.

SCALES
The optional 2520 scale package has a four-point load cell system for ease of uniformly loading the planter with the desired amount of seed. The scale features a built-in calculator that determines the weight needed per box and tracks fields for each unload event. The standard auto-shutoff feature will stop the conveyor once a pre-determined weight of seed has been reached so you can put the exact amount of seed in each box.
An optional 4"x18" remote scale display is also available to mount on the side of the seed tender for easy viewing of the weight.
T & G APPLICATOR
The hydraulically driven T&G Applicator option features a patented design that is synchronized with the conveyor speed for consistent application of talc or graphite, no matter how fast the conveyor is turning.
DELUXE LADDER
The optional deluxe ladder features a gas strut lift-assist and a 20” wide ladder rung. The patent-pending ergonomic design unfolds away from the tank for an easier climb, lifts up, and stores behind the fender for transport.
WHEEL OPTIONS
For a more stylized look, equip your Seed Runner with aluminum wheels for models 3755XL, 3755, 2755XL, and 2755.
ADDITIONAL ACCESSORIES
A three-stage telescoping downspout option is available for 8” and 6” conveyors that reach up to 44’ on XL models and 40’ on non-XL models.
